Subjunctive = hukum / kalpana ki verb form. It's time + past = abhi late: It's time we left. as if + past = jaisa ki (unreal): He talks as if he knew. Formal: suggest that he sit / should sit. Wish = 57. If I were you = 40. suggest + -ing = 44.

1. Kya hai

Subjunctive = verb ka hukum / kalpana shape. Aksar base (sit, be) ya past form (left, knew, were) — lekin time past nahi.

2. It's time / high time

Form Example

left / went / told yahan past story nahi — "ab karo". It's time we leave / will leave exam me galat. I'd rather you didn't = 57, similar past, alag matlab.

3. as if / as though + that + base

as though = as if. Exam me were yahi (40 / 57 same).

Hindi note. It's time we left = abhi nikalna hai, kal ki kahani nahi. as if = jaisa ki; agar jhuth/unreal hai to past / were. Formal hukum: that + sit / be (ya British should sit). suggest + -ing = 44, rozana; suggest that = 62.
