Use Example

Fact The sun rises in the east.
Kaam / school life She goes to school at 8.

Dono ek saath mat lagao: I am a student (kaun hai — be). I go to school (kaam — simple present). I am go galat.

2. Forms

Verb = kaam wala word (play, go, eat).

Subject (karta) Positive (haan) Negative (nahi) Question (sawal)
I / you / we / they + plural noun play do not play / don't play Do you play …?
he / she / it + singular noun / naam plays does not play / doesn't play Does he play …?

Nahi aur sawal me do / does aata hai; uske baad verb base (bina -s/-ed, jaise like, play) rehta hai — extra -s nahi: Does she like tea? — not Does she likes.

Short answer (chhota jawab): Yes, I do. / No, she doesn't. Poora verb dobara zaroori nahi. (Jaise topic 05: Yes, I am — not Yes I'm.)
