used to / would = purani aadat (ab nahi). would haalat wale verbs (live / have / be / like) ke saath nahi. Kitni baar (always / usually) = topic 25 — yahan nahi. would like = topic 29. If + would = topic 40.

1. Kya hai

used to + asal verb = pehle regular tha, ab nahi. Habit (aadat): I used to play cricket. State (haalat — live / have / be / like): I used to live in Pune.

I used to cycle to school. Now I take the metro.

Simple past ek baar: I played yesterday (topic 10 / 22). Har Sunday scene = topic 38. Yahan: purani aadat, ab band.

2. used to / would

3. be used to / get used to

Alag structure, alag matlab. Yeh topic 47 wale to + -ing jaisa: yahan to = preposition.

be / get used to ke baad: noun ya -ing. I'm used to wake galat. He/she: is used to. Past: I was used to the heat in Chennai.

Sound: habit wala used to ≈ "yoost to". Deep -ed sound = I8.

Hindi note. Purani aadat, ab nahi = used to + V1. did / didn't ke baad use to (bina d). would sirf dobara-dobara kaam; live/have/be ke saath nahi. Abhi aadat = be used to + noun / -ing. Aadat padna = get used to.
