Prepositions of place — in, on, at, under

Preposition of place = chhota word jo jagah batata hai (where? = kahan?). Time wale in / on / at topic 26. Abhi sirf jagah.

1. Kya hai

Preposition (jagah wala chhota word) + noun (naam) = kahan hai. Picture socho: andar, upar, ek point, neeche.

Andar jaana / upar chadna ke alag words abhi nahi. Yahan sirf: kahan hai?

2. in / on / at / under

Use Examples
in — box, room, country, city, photo in the cupboard, in the kitchen, in India, in the photo
on — table, wall, floor, page, bus/train on the chair, on page 10, on the bus (British)
at — door, stop, station, market, table (baithna / khana) at the bus stop, at the station, at the table
under — bed, table, tree, chair under the table, under the tree

Same word, do matlab: on the bed (upar baitha/pada) vs in bed (sona, blanket ke andar). Cheez table pe = on the table. Khana khana / baithna = at the table.

3. Home, school, city

Yeh phrases yaad rakho — Hindi "me / pe" yahan help nahi karta.

in the classroom = room ke andar. at school = school ki jagah (student / kaam). Sadak / gali ke extra English topic I4 pe. Abhi itna kaafi.

Hindi note. Hindi "me / pe / par" ek jaisa lag sakta hai. English me hamesha yahi: city/country/room/bag = in; table/wall/floor = on; home/school/station/door = at; neeche = under. in home mat likho.
